I didn't know/remember this (probably very famous) passage from Alice in Wonderland. Very nice!
If you plan to (re)read the book, I recommend this edition introduced by Richard Kelly.
I think this conversation is incomplete without this line:"Only a few find the way. Some don't recognize when they do, some don't ever want to."
Is this line in the original text by Carroll? I feel it was introduced by someone else (perhaps in American McGee's Alice?) because I can't remember reading it. But it is a great addition nonetheless.
Yeah, its in McGee's Alice. Both his renditions A:MR and American McGee's Alice build wonderfully on top of the world Lewis had created.
